Pioneer Scholarship

  • Academic Criteria

    • Minimum GPA—3.0

    • Minimum ACT—22

      • In 500 words or less, describe how an NLC College education will help you achieve your future goals.

    • Letter of Recommendation

  • Amount: scholarship ensures student pays no more than $1,500/semester ($300/month) in tuition every semester based on a 15 hour schedule (books and any hours exceeding the 15 hours will be the student's responsibility).

  • Two Pioneer Scholarships are Awarded each year to an incoming Freshmen.

Director’s Scholarship

  • Academic Criteria

    • Top GPA and ACT

    • Minimum GPA—3.5

    • Minimum ACT—28

  • Other Criteria

    • Essay

      • In 500 words or less, describe how an NLC College education will help you achieve your future goals.

    • Interview

    • Letter of Recommendation

  • Amount

    • Full cost of tuition for four semesters*

    • Book stipend for four semesters

Submit essays and letters of recommendation via email to tarver@newlifechurch.tv. The Priority Deadline for scholarships is June 1st, 2022.

*NLC College scholarship renewal requirements include:

  • Must maintain 3.5 GPA for Director’s Scholarship and a 3.0 GPA for Pioneer Scholarship

  • Must be actively involved in NLC ministry

  • Students must enroll in at least 12 credit hours per semester. At the end of each Fall semester students must earn 9 undergraduate credit hours and remain in good academic standing as defined by the current academic catalog.

  • Directors scholarship amount will be applied to student’s bill after all other aid has been applied.

One Director’s Scholarship is awarded every year to an incoming freshman student.

**Scholarships are limited and competitive. Students are considered for eligibility upon becoming fully admitted. 

 

NLC Staff Scholarship

The NLC College staff scholarship includes half off remaining tuition after all other scholarships, federal aid, and pell grants have been applied to your bill. 

To receive the scholarship, the staffer must meet at least one of the following conditions:

  1. Be employed as a full-time salaried employee for at least one year.

  2. Live in the same residence of a full-time salaried employee (at least one year of employment).

NLC College requires the staffer to maintain a level of excellence in academics. A GPA of 3.0 must be maintained every term. If a student falls below this requirement, NLC College has the right to drop all given aid.
